Summer Hours and Big Bell Update

Quick update on a few things happening 6/17/25

We will be switching over to our summer hours starting that day.

We will be open Tuesday- Friday from 8am-4pm through summer and fall.

Also, after a few setbacks, we are now expecting to get our big processor back together on 6/17. In the meantime, our small machine is running well, and we have both white and dark varieties of wood available.

Big Processor Broke Down

We will be relying on our small firewood processor only for the remainder of the week, and likely all of next week.

We’ve been welding and patching link breaks in our big processor’s chain conveyor for years, and we finally decided it’s time to replace the whole thing.

This means that our dark wood supply will be limited, and pieces will generally be split a little bigger.

We should be able to keep up with demand still, but there may be some delays and longer wait times.
